The G440 driver is optimised to deliver more ball speed through multiple advancements, including PING’s deepest CG in a driver to date and a shallower, thinner face, while continuing to ensure the game-changing forgiveness expected from a PING driver. Golfers in need of slice-correction technology fit best in the PING G440 SFT (Straight Flight) driver option. Featuring a 2-position (Draw and Draw+), adjustable 23-gram back weight, offered in 9° and 10.5° lofts.

CarbonFly Wrap Crown
Common to all three models (MAX, LST, SFT), the CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight, which is reallocated to help lower the CG, ensure forgiveness and contribute to a more muted, pleasing sound at impact.
Hotter, Thinner Face
A lower face height allowed PING designers to make the face thinner and hotter for more ball speed and consistency across the clubface, including the high heel region.
Free-Hosel Technology
Weight removed from a section of the hosel is reallocated to help push mass lower to create PING’s deepest centre of gravity in a driver to date, aligning it closer to the force line for faster ball speed, optimal spin and higher launch for longer and straighter drives.
Lighter & Longer
The total system weight is reduced by 10 grams and the standard length of PING's proprietary ALTA CB Blue shaft is 46" (1/4" longer than the previous model) to help golfers swing faster for more speed while maintaining a tight dispersion pattern.
Adjustability
A 23-gram back weight ensures forgiveness and can be adjusted into a draw, or draw+ position to influence shot shape and trajectory. The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.) to further dial in ball flight for the best results. G440 SFT Specs: Lofts: 9°, 10.5°, Head Size: 460cc, Head Weight: 199g, Back Weight: 23g, Swing Weight: D0.
